Devanio Introduction

Hands Around The WorldThe concept of Devanio came to me a couple of years ago when I was looking for a name that I could use as a coverall for everything I was doing or intended to do. I got business cards printed out and started working on a project in the Real Estate sector that used the name but really let it lie as other matters took over.

However I was still working on the concept and now it seems to be coming together quite nicely.

The website is divided into categories to do with the things that I do. So to find out about what is happening in real estate in Spain, about things happening in the world of social media and my websites, joint ventures I am working on, the Lifemax Europe project, web 2.0 and loads of other things then keep watching.

2009 Review For Devanio

By the Way. Check This Out

For Sale on Flippa.com: 8 Year Old PR3 Ex Newspaper Site Great Earning Potential

Devanio has been very busy during 2009 on the various projects that are ongoing. So where do we stand?

Well on the property front things are very definitely on their way back. I look forward to many more sales in 2010 after the best 4th quarter for five years. Check out the latest news here and the latest properties here. The Audiobooks have been very successful, if you want to get yourself a copy then go here

Lifemax Mila is still not ready for Europe but will be in first quarter 2010 so expect to see a major push on this fantastic product very soon. Interested to know more then get in touch with me by mail.

SEO and Web 2.0 is moving very well now. The first contracts to promote other’s sites and give them an online presence are now running but they are super hush hush and I have teamed up with a couple of great people here in Spain to domain, promote and project things together. We are also looking to do a lot more in the social media area in Spanish. Bug news coming up in the New Year but maybe around February time before it gets fleshed out.

The Twitter Twelve Project will be ready for the New Year too. What is that? Well wait and see.

Teach Your Child To Read lost a bit of momentum in the final quarter due to Anita’s hospital stay and a few other factors but the website contnues to get signups for the online course to help teach your child to read and the book representation is going really well. We are still looking for reps around the country with connections in the international schools to promote the sale of books in both the schools and the English speaking community so if you know someone who may be interested it is a really good way of earning a nice extra stream of income.

Spain contiues to be Spain whatever anyone says about the country and it delights, frustrates and meanders along in equal measure. We are set here in Valencia and hope to be here for the foreseeable future.

How Are Things Going?

A little information about how things are going with the various projects.

1) Real Estate: Is really picking up well now thanks to the constant contact meaning I don’t miss clients now. Lots of relationship building meaning that people are more informed and ready to make a buying or renting decision when they come over.

2) Social Media. Still building up the social media presence and it is working very well. Recognition of knowledge in the area now as more people ask for advice coupled with a couple of potential contracts to manage social media presence online for companies.

3) Web: Both main new websites are going well. The Houses For Sale in Spain site now has a great offer on audiobooks which people are really getting into. Thanks to all the interviewees for their candour. The Teach Your Child To Read site is building nicely now although Google still doesn’t like it. Luckily Bing, Yahoo and all of the people signing up for the free reading course for their kids seem to be loving it.

4) Usborne Representation: Is building well. We are looking at a good number of potential representatives in Spain all with contacts in the schools.

5) Lifemax: Again is coming to Europe soon. There is a trial going on in Ireland at the moment and all of the labelling has now been passed for Europe so as soon as the trial is over we will be good to go. Meanwhile our Guinea Pigs have been having great results with reduction of cholesterol levels.

The Audiobook Downloads

When I planned the Audiobook series Success in Spain there was one thing I wanted to get really clear and prepare people for:

As the saying goes “Spain is Different” yet at the same time it remains the same as anywhere else.

Spain is not a paradise of sangria and siestas where you party hard and rest a lot, although that is a part of it. How long would that remain interesting? You come here with baggage, your character and your personality and any actions you take here will determine your results in the future much more than the external circumstances that surround you.

What does this mean for you on coming to Spain? Well, as the saying goes, if you do the same things you have always done, then you will get the same results.

Spain is a reality. Spain has an economic crisis and the interviewees all talk eloquently about how that is affecting the areas of Spain they are living in and in many cases their own businesses. Spain need not be a great trauma for those who come to live here but for those of you who come unprepared it often is. If you fail to plan then you obviously plan to fail. These audiobooks try to make sure that you come here prepared and ready to roll.

One of the things I like about the 16 interviews is that there is a positivity and “can do” attitude that shines through in most, if not all. Stumbling blocks and hurdles come up and current situations are determined by decisions made in the past as a reaction to events. Not everyone had the plan worked out but most managed to have the flexibility to get around the hurdles or even just plough through them.

There is also a second product, a monologue called “The Estate Agent Confessions”. I decided to open up the Pandora’s Box of tricks that agents use to make you part with more money. The idea of the audiobook is to make sure you save lots of money and get the best deals and obviously I hope to get you into my sales funnel so that what you do spend you spend with me. ;-)

Anyway click on the links below to check out what the product includes and hopefully we will see you having bought the audios and ebooks armed with a lot more knowledge when you eventually do come to Spain.

(This 47 Euro investment will save you lots of money with me and with any others you deal with in Spain. It will pay for itself many times over)

The audiobooks will help you to make the most of your move to Spain whether that move is temporary of permanent. Have a look at the Houses For Sale in Spain Audiobooks here.

More About Teach Your Child To Read

The second stage of the Teach Your Child To Read site that I have been working on with my wife is now up and started, I won’t say running yet. The first page www.teachyourchildtoread.net has been going for two months now and is growing in traffic and followers on a daily basis. Last night we put up the Spanish site www.ingesparaninos.es which will develop the course in Spanish to help teach children to read in English.

Head on over to the two sites through the links above and tell us what you think. Over the next two days the Ingles Para Niños site will grow as we upload the translated content. The Teach Your Child To Read site will grow organically as more content appears. Feedback is welcome of course.
